DxO Optics Pro is updated by DxO Labs today with a new version (8.1.3) which allows (Elite version only) to process the RAW images of 3 Leica M rangefinder cameras :
- Leica M
- Leica M9 (visit my Leica M-9 review gallery page)
- Leica M9-P
But also, the standard version of DxO Optics Pro also won the support of the following cameras:
- Nikon D5200 (expect the full Nikon D5200 review very soon, I am working on it)
- Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ200
- Canon Powershot SX50 HS
This update adds 260 additional camera-lens combinations to DxO’s modules database available for automatic correction of optical defects of the lenses. In addition to some new Canon, Panasonic, Sigma, Sony, Tamron, Tokina lenses …. I spotted the arrival in the DxO library of 3 important Leica M lenses (Super-Elmar and two Summilux):
- Leica Super-Elmar-M 18mm f/3.8 ASPH
- Leica Summilux-M 35mm f/1.4 ASPH
- Leica Summilux-M 50mm f/1.4 ASPH
