DxO Labs announces the update of its film simulation software “DxO FilmPack” which now is available in version v3.2.3 for both Mac and Windows. This software update extends its compatibility with Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 and Windows 8. DxO FilmPack v3.2.3 works in either 32 or 64-bit as a stand-alone application or plugin now with Photoshop Elements 11. Therefore, now, DxO FilmPack 3 plug-in is supported by the following photography software :
- DxO Optics Pro 6, 7, 8 (32 and 64-bit)
- Adobe Photoshop CS3, CS4 (32 and 64-bit), CS5 (32 and 64-bit), CS6 (32 and 64-bit)
- Adobe Lightroom 3 and 4 (32 and 64-bit)
- Adobe Photoshop Elements 9, 10, 11 (32 and 64-bit)
- Apple Aperture 3 (32 and 64 bit)
The support of DxO FilmPack 3 by Photoshop Elements 11 FilmPack is an opening to an audience of more amteurs photographers who can then give their photos a reliable and customizable films look. Sixty silver halide films are reproduced by DxO FilmPack 3, an interesting alternative to the famous black and white photography plug-in Nik Silver Efex Pro.
