Nikon D5200 sample image gallery

Nikon D5200
The D5200 still has scene modes and shorcut presets for portraits, landscapes... I like that. It is always handy. Its flash hotshot is compatible with i-TTL and its built-in pop-up flash can control multiple flashes, wireless, with Nikon's CLS system.

Nikon France has published a full sample image gallery of photos shot with the Nikon D5200 DSLR announed earlier this week. I could get my hands on the D5200 at Paris Photoshow which takes place this week-end and I have to say that it is quite surprising to see the powerful D7000’s 39-points AF system in action in the compact and light D5200 camera body ! But I’ll publish a full hands-on of the Nikon D5200 this week-end.

So here is a preview of the full 38 images gallery posted by Nikon on their Flickr account which allows us to see what to expect regarding image quality although having the experience of the Nikon D3200 which has the same sensor, the outstanding results of the D3200 makes no suspens. They both share the APS-C 24MP sensor that we also find in some Sony cameras like the NEX-7 mirrorless camera or SLT-A77 DSLR. This Flickr album lets you view the D5200 photos at various sizes up to 4,000 x 6,000 pixels, the native definition of the camera’s sensor. In the gallery, you can see how good the camera will behave under low light and high ISO settings, make your opinion on the sensor’s dynamic range and the efficiency of the Active D-Lightring system or see some digital filters like miniature or black and white.
