As a tribute to the movie TRON, photographer Christoph Malin has created this must-watch stunning video of stacked images shot from the ISS (International Space Station) as a parralel to TRON’s solar ship. For this movie, Christoph has stacked a huge load of images from the NASA which were recorded by the ISS crew. It has generated star trails and even some interesting patterns. From time to time you can also see some satellites and meteros as they cut the repetitive pattern. This movie was suggested to me by some friends at Nikon… because the ISS crew used a Nikon D3s, the high ISO world champion DSLR. To edit this gorgeous video, the photographer used Apple Motion and Final Cut pro X. The stacking process was operated thanks to StarStaX software.
Enjoy !
