last update (V7.5) of DxO Optics Pro 7 brought the support of the Nikon D800 RAW files (in addition to native 64-bit). Today, DxO comes with a new software update (V7.5.1) that will be able to process the Nikon D800E RAW files with an improved moiré correction algorithm, designed for the D800E as this camera has no optical Low-Pass filter and is subject to moiré on repetitive patterns.
An other Nikon DSLR comes in the list of the cameras supported by DxO now : the D3200 which does not come alone. It has been profiled with no less than 71 different lenses ! Actually, this update adds an other 400 camera-lens modules to DxO Optics pro’s library that now contains 7,000. The target is to reach 10,000 by the end of the year, a figure doubled in one single year.
Three other cameras are now compatible with DxO Optics Pro : the EVF Sony DSLRs SLT-A35 and SLT-A57 and the MFT mirrorless camera Panasonic GX1 (see my Panasonic GX1 review in Nevada Stats Parks)
