Instagram is now a Facebook company

Just a few days after Instagram announced and released the Android version of the photosharing social iPhone App, we learn that Instagram has been taken over by Facebook. The fast success of Instagram (launched in January 2012 / 30 million users in slightly more than one single year / iPhone App of 2012 title for Apple) must have lured the investment hunger of Mark Zuckerberg’s social network company. Facebook has bought Instagram for $1,000,000 in cash and shares. Facebook should be launched on financial markets in May with a potential action price jump that would meen even more money for Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger, Instagram founders.

What will Instagram become now ?

Many of Instgram’s 30 million users may wonder what will happen with Instagram and may fear the iApp would be fused to Facebook app…. Kevi Systrom, on Instagram official blog, asserts that Instagram, as mobile independent app, will keep going on and evolving as a stand-alone application, even improving with more functions in the future. Nothing is said wether Instagram will be implemented to Facebook pages.

Facebook acquiring Instagram for One billion Dollars, that was THE Easter Egg.
