Canon published a small image gallery of photographs taken with the DSLR aimed at astrophotographers, the EOS 60Da, announced earlier this week. The Canon EOS 60Da is based on the EOS 60D camera. Canon has adapted its sensor, the APS-C of 18-megapixel resolution, with a different optical low pass filter that filters less infrared so that the red layers of the light’s spectrum are enhanced. The Canon EOS 60Da is more sensitive to the A-alpha array.
As you will see, for this EOS 60Da sample image gallery, Canon has focus on deep sky superstars like the Orion nebulae, Andromed galaxy and the Pleiades.
