Nikon D800 RAW files supported by Mac OS X, Aperture and iPhoto

I have to admit that I am often frustrated to see Apple slow update schedule of the newest camera’s RAW file formats but today, they prove that they are sometimes able to speed things up and just the week the first Nikon D800 DSLRs are delivered to their early adopters (which are a lot !), Apple published a RAW compatibility update (V3.11) that allow Mac OS X to display the D800’s CR2 files and Aperture / iPhoto to edit the RAW files of the 36-megapixel sensor of Nikon’s pro DSLR that has been tested here with IMPRESSIVE test results.

Check out RAW Compatibility Update 3.11 here.
