Nikon D3200 : Amazon France and "For Dummies" take preorders

Leaks come from a wide variety of sources. It can be a corporate leak, on purpose or not, like the Nikon D800 leak last week on website. It can also come from a magazine, like last month leak of the nikon D4 and Fujifilm X-Pro1. It actually was the French photography magazine Réponses Photo that went out a few hours too early and spoiled Nikon’s NDA while I was travelling to the CES 2012. Interesting, it was the issue where I noticed the interesting Canon Pro-1 vs Epson Stylus Photo R3000 A3+ printers review.

Today, and First editions published the Nikon D3200 pour les Nuls, which is the equivalent to the Nikon D3200 for dummies. We know for sure that the D3100 will have a successor. The name D3200 tends to mean that it will be a minor upgrade. Actually, the Nikon D3100 is still a good DSLR, quite advanced, with a nice 14 megapixels CMOS sensor, Full HD / Full time AF, 11 point autofocus, etc. Its price is not dropping significantly and the D3100 is hardly available. We expected the D800 to be announced next month during the CP+, before any other DSLR replacement in Nikon’s range.
Do you want to know my wish list for Nikon D3200 improvements over the D3100 I made a review of last year ? Well, that would be a better resolution screen, why not swiveling although this is the asset of the D5100, a better, brighter and wider viewfinder and a more quiet and accurate autofocus in video mode.
Let’s wait and see….

But today, Amazon is taking preorders for the Nikon D3200 for dummies in French….

Amazon France, UK and Germany anticipate the release of the Nikon D3200
