DxO Labs announced a secon update of its photography software, DxO Optics Pro 7. DxO Optics Pro version 7.2 will is now available for Mac and Windows. It will offer RAW files support for recent cameras :
Canon Powershot S100 (review coming soon !)
Panasonic G1 (ok, not so recent…)
They also infirm us that their camera calibration method has been improved in orderf to enhance their reactivity. We can expect a lot of new camera-lens module in 2012 as they told me they are planning to double the number of DxO Modules available by the end of 2012. More lenses will be profiled on existing cameras as well. This month, they have added 250 camera/lens modules.
But that is not it : DxO Optics Pro 7.2 adds a an import function that lets you import either projects or editing information from DxO Optics Pro 6. The v7 was not compatible with the V6 project… that has been fixed. You can now import them and blend them in the DxO Optics Pro V7 library.
The way to crop images has also been improved. So has been the overall stability of the software.
